We lived near Portland when I was a kid and you had to make sure that you said 'White Bunnies' there, rather than rabbits. This was due to said rabbits undermining the various tunnels/ quarries on the island & causing collapes. (I have no idea why bunnies was preferable to rabbits - you'd have thought no mention at all would be the way to go, but there you have it!)
LOL My mum used to do/say this - it brought back happy memories. :)
